Get the beers ready Germany!

The [JiF]Lt Gavs are flying in to Munich on Friday.
It will be my first visit to Germany & my daughter & I are really excited.
We are meeting up with a business friend of my wife, who is going to show us round the city.
A nice long weekend, Friday to Monday which will give me a much needed break away from work.
All I want is snow on the ground to give it a real good Christmas feel.

u should be good to go with the snow, germany is getting hit very hard a snowstorms. i have about 30-40 cm here in berlin.

You won´t have much trouble finding xmas in Munich... I was just on the phone with a friend and he told me that the temperature is pretty stable at -10°C lately and there is now more snow than you want to be responsible to remove from your car every morning

Good news with the snow front, thanks for the intel
We're due to get some here sometime in the next few days, just hope it doesn't stop us travelling.
At least I won't have to worry about clearing the car & driving for a few days.
My boss was telling me at work tonight that I should get on the Gluhwein, definitely going to give it a try

Oh well!
British Airways decided it was too cold for their planes yesterday, so we spent an afternoon evening sitting at the airport, then another 2 hours standing waiting to get our bag back.
I'm now sat in my house looking at a snow storm outside reading how other airllines were opperating & the airport had been running as normal. I might be booking with other airlines another time. No airline staff were able to give us any information all afternoon. Grrrrrrrrrrrr!
